Charles Bruzonsky, 81, of Golden Valley, Minn. died Saturday, June 26, 1999.

 

He spent 30 years with Minnesota Woolen Co. in Duluth as vice president of shipping operations. He served as president of Adas Israel Synagogue in Duluth and the Jewish Fellowship Club of Duluth and as a board member of Ida Cook Hebrew School in Duluth. He was president of B'nai Emet Synagogue Men's Club.

 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Syvia; brothers Nathan, Abe and Gordon; and a sister, Minnie Karol.

 

He is survived by his wife, Myrtle; his children Phyllis and Earl Cohen of Edina, Minn., Lisa and Bradley Erickson of Eden Prairie, Minn., Steve and Karen Bruzonsky of Gilbert, Ariz., and Mark Bruzonsky of Washington, D.C.; his grandchildren Melissa and Amy Cohen, Matthew and Bryan Erickson and Adria and Alisa Bruzonsky; a sister, Goldie Bruzonsky of St. Louis Park, Minn.; niece and nephews Miriam and Dr. Sam Sterk of Phoenix, and Myron Bruzonsky of Duluth; Myrtle's children Jerry and Liz Sadoff of Washington, D.C., Amy Sadoff and Richard Launer of Golden Valley and Howard and Judy Sadoff of Plymouth, Minn.; and Myrtle's grandchildren Charles, Sally and Johnny Sadoff, Zachary and Sasha Launer, and Elaine and Danny Sadoff.

 

Service: 9:30 a.m. today in B'nai Emet Synagogue, St. Louis Park. Interment at 1:30 p.m. today in Adas Israel Cemetery, Duluth. Shiva at 7 p.m. Monday to Thursday at 6700 Field Way, Edina. Memorials preferred to B'nai Emet Synagogue. Arrangements by Hodroff & Sons Funeral Chapel, Minneapolis.
